Appreciate the offer but I don’t plan on changing from stock setup on exhaust system.

But you said you needed an HP DME?
Any donor DME will need at least an EWS delete so I don't know that you will be able to just have a plug and play DME.

You could buy one of those and use a really cheap and easy to use program (binary modification tool from ecuworx.co.uk) to make the necessary changes.
Additionally you could ship it no any number of places for changes and you could also have a tuner make the changes remotely if you purchase a KDCAN cable.

I can put whatever you want on it is what I'm saying. If you want something deleted I can delete it. If you want stock exhaust tune no problem I can do that too. The main part is the HP DME. Anything else can be changed on the actual DME tune

The tune that I provide on here will be very sufficient regardless of deleted cat or no deleted cat and you will be able to drive fine without having to get tuned immediately from a tuner. But eventually you'll want to get tuned if you want to tweak as much power as you want on a dyno.

I'll be getting my karbonius box in a few weeks. I'm thinking of going with Kassel MAP/IAT CSL installation kit on air rail- anyone else has this setup? how do you like it? what other MAP options exist?

COVID-19’s fitting on the brake booster line. Was pleasantly surprised that it all worked right out of the box without any of the drivability issues most people with carbon airboxes seem to encounter

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Any noticeable mileage changes for highway for the airbox. improvement, reduction, the same?

Any difference in fuel mileage with MAP vs Alpha N if anyone has done both?

I am not expecting a Toyota Prius, Just want to make sure it is similar or close to same for stock. I drive my car to Road Atlanta, and use it day to day.

I'm using this setup, as well as Kassel's HP DME tune. It was easy to install and it's stealthy. I did not notice any drivability issues.

Have there been any issues with the haimus boxes since the initial switch over in company name, etc? Pricing between haimus with shipping and karbonius is nearly the same now. Small thing but I like that the haimus box doesn't have that additional roughly 2" diameter inlet on it.

Also ECS tuning is listing them as shipped from the manufacturer. Anyone know if that means it's warehoused overseas and I'm going to get a tarriff surprise?

I had the karbonius with oem CSL flap, IAT + MAF, HTE tune and I really dislike it. I let the flap open 100% because I had a 2001. Probably going MAP next time doing this.

After I installed headers Kassel re-tuned the car. I’ve been very happy with the performance which is significantly better than stock. But most importantly is the sound above 4k rpm.

If you are experiencing a sluggish throttle, you simply need to tune your car. See Pasha's tuning thread, I used his method multiple times to tune the air/fuel ratios and my car became on another level, way better than any OTS tuner can give you.

Go map and then tune your car by logging data using pasha's method, it's here somewhere. He's also in California now, so, if you're from California - i'm pretty sure you could convince one of the coolest S54 guys to look at it.
