I had this same issue years ago for a standard strut tower bar after the stock one broke on me. It was months of back and forth before I got it...

My main issue is my towers cracked along the holes and I didn't do a great job grinding the welds. I had to grind welds on the top and bottom, unfortunately I went too far in some areas.

I don't have cracks anymore but I do have reduced metal thickness in areas that are near the holes unfortunately. I really feel I need a flat footing on top and plates on the bottom at this point.


Edit: Maybe I'll order the spacers for my towers (even though they don't have the bumps) and use with the stock bar until I can maybe find a suitable alternative in down the line. More surface area on the tops of the towers.

Ordered, thank you, seems like a good setup with compromised towers and stock bar. Now my problem will be the studs on my camber plates won't be long enough, always something.

Lol he’s gone with the wind. Given up on contacting him. Tried to contact his ATV business too, no leads. Wanted a refund via Shopify, no clue where to start with that as Shopify themselves don’t care about refunds and make you talk to the store owner who is gone. Going with a Rogue Engineering strut bar.

for recent purchases you have a lot of protections. but if its been months+ and you're just now reaching out to dispute, your cc company will side hard with the vendor. like it was mentioned before, anything outside of them straight not replying will result in your claim being denied.

yes i had a similar experience with TrakRacer (sim rig company) where i purchased a frame from them on black friday but didnt get around to assembling it for a few months. it ended up being pretty heavily warped/misaligned and they ignored all of my communications (outside of their AI based customer support making a "ticket" for me every time i reached out to them that to this day have gone unresolved).
someone from trakracer did respond to my credit card company when THEY reached out to them though, so that was enough to get my claim denied, i predict that might be an outcome for you as well
