I have PSS10s on my coupe and KW v2 on my convertible.

I definitely prefer the PSS10s over the KW v2’s. The ride is so much better with the PSS10s than the v2s. Honestly, I will probably swap the v2 over to the PSS10 when I get the chance.

I think that’s a bit too harsh. My E36 came with BCs and calling them trash would be too nice. The car was a complete mess with them on. I’m currently running KW V3s wifh GC camber plates with the out of the box settings and it’s a night and day difference in terms of ride quality and handling. Plus the KWs come with a lifetime warranty that includes rebuilds IIRC, so when the time comes to rebuild I’ll upgrade to MCS 1WNR and sell the freshly rebuilt KWs to offset the cost. The KWs are not the best, but they’re not bad at all for street use.

This is probably where EthanolTurbo got the graphs from (Plots curtesy of BFG Racing Poland) if you want to read more. Now this was KW V4s, don't know what that means in comparison to V3s.

I installed PSS10's on my car about 2k miles ago. Personally I love them! I did run out and do a track day on them and was plenty happy with how they performed. A bit soft for dedicated track use but for a car that will only see the track here and there I'm very pleased with them.

Anyone have experience on PSS10 rebuilds? Cost, longevity, etc. Mine are old...very old. Plenty happy with them and appropriate for my use, but debating replacement vs rebuild.

Never driven a car with KWs where I didn't think they were trash-- including my e60 M5, that had V3s.

I have PSS10s on my e86 M. Very happy with how they drive on the streets and even though a bit soft on track I have no complaints.

When you run a shock you get both, just a matter of which view you're looking at.
No idea what's going on with that KW V4, something is very wrong with that shock. The KW V3's looked nothing like that - I will find the plot.

Ohlins makes great shocks, not surprised their curve looks good. Let's see Paul Allen's.. I mean Bilstein's shock curves.

Fun fact, both M3 and M4 GTS were equipped with KW suspension.

This thread is a great example of why you do, at a certain point, just have to try something for yourself. There’s two pages of replies but no real takeaways. Just “I like them” or “I don’t” and that’s pretty much how every car modification is.
