Well, I believe now is the time to order Karb boxes as Euro hit parity with USD.

Basically, you can get Karb delivered to you for about $1900.

Close to the GB price from 2018 or whenever that was. I wish I needed something from Karb or Schmiedmann etc right about now, but I’ve already bought all the fancy parts 🙄

Hah! Never hurt to have 2 x of anything Karb, especially with their resale value always so strong.

Somewhat related question: I currently have Eventuri intake- anyone make the jump from Eventuri to CSL style air box? Any regrets or was the cost worthwhile for the smaller improvement as opposed to the jump from stock?

I need to purchase a Karb intake for the silver car stat before I miss out on the sweet exchange rate. I guess the big question for me will be standard Karb + Karb CF snorkel or Karb race with integrated snorkel.

I never had an eventuri intake but intuitively I would say the difference is night and day. The majority of the noise comes from the intake plenum itself. Those cold air style intakes that mate to the stock airbox make a negligible difference in sound in comparison to a full carbon box imo.

Just did this like a month ago. Went from Eventuri to the Turner v2 box as I got a deal i just couldn’t pass up. Then had HTE dyno tune.

If you have the spare change, do it, especially with the strength of the US dollar

Has the Turner box undergone any revisions since the V2 box came out ~2 years ago? I have a V1 and a V2 box, both lightly used and lightly blemished, that I'll be looking to sell soon and trying to price appropriately. I see that whatever version they're on, Turner has new TMS CSL boxes on sale for $1800, which is pretty wild.

Also, anywhere stateside have Karb boxes in stock ready to ship right now? Seeing a lead time of 8 weeks direct from Karb.

$1800 for a TMS box LOL. Karb is $1950 right now with the exchange rate of 1/1.02. I think IND said they have Karb box in stock? ECS is showing Dec lol.

Other problem is remembering you have to add $130-200 for a damn filter.

Yeah the TMS box is a terrible value rn lol. For the price I originally paid, it definitely has a place in the market, but not at $1900 (which is current MSRP, $1800 is after 5% sale discount lol). I'll be listing mine for significantly less.

TMS price should have never risen past $1200 smh. Anyone who chooses to buy an $1800 TMS/eBay intake over a Karb intake at $1900 is a clown.

Yet another question about the Karb race variant. Does it have the hole for the lower secondary ducting? Pictures on the Karb site don’t have it, pictures on vendors like ECS do have it. Would love to eliminate that hole and all the factory ducting provisions altogether.
