      Oh man Ian! Excellent info.
I copied it to my iBooks/iPad so referencing it offline is possible.

Glad this wasn’t lost, I printed this and made a binder, color coded, for when I did my s54 swap on my e36 M3. This was invaluable

I think there may be an updated version of this somewhere. This one incorrectly lists the rear brake caliper bracket torque as 81ft lbs. It should be 48.

We need to correct the linked file then if everyone uses it as gospel. Sorry you had to break the bolt to find this out.
All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

The Enthusiast website, Build Journal, has a bolt torque guide.

Found a link to the updated version in bimmerfan08's rod bearing DIY. We should probably update the link in the original post

While that has the right torque value, I'm not sure that is the latest version. A few of the latest updates had pages on cams/valves (around page 40), etc per screenshot, and total page count was around 98.

Weird that this particular value is incorrect...

Yeah really strange. Do you have the file that you took the screenshot from? I'm happy to host it somewhere for people to download.
