With the unfortunate demise of our beloved M3Forum the sharks have come out.

Ugh. Bimmerpost is the worst of car forums.

TBF, there has always been an E46 M3 subsection on M3post (bimmerpost forum for e9x m3). Looks like that subsection is being converted into it's own forum. It's no longer showing on m3post boards.

Sounds like they need to be treated to a "what oil" thread

Followed by a thread stipulating that 2003 and above e46 m3s don't suffer from racp or rod bearing issues, ever. PS, I drive like g-ma.

Let’s not forget SMG to 6Spd conversion tutorial. That place is run like the government. Lobbyist aka Sponsors are the bosses. As a vendor there, the admin there are quite horrible to deal with honestly.

E90Post is singlehandedly my least favorite part about owning a 335is.

Weren't your bearings shot at 80k or something?

Wasn't me. I'm actually getting ready to do my rod bearings. Crossed the 100k mark. I was remembering a post where this one dude showed up on m3forum.net towards the end and said that the racp and vanos issues were all hype and simply not necessary. Was pretty comical.

I just did rod bearings on an engine with 85k miles and they were smmoth and almost flawless. Oil changes go a long way. I'm not saying don't do them but you probably don't need to. Here's a TSB I found for rod bearing replacement that will be helpful.

I'm going to put this in the DIY section now that I'm thinking about it
