TBF, there has always been an E46 M3 subsection on M3post (bimmerpost forum for e9x m3). Looks like that subsection is being converted into it's own forum. It's no longer showing on m3post boards.

Let’s not forget SMG to 6Spd conversion tutorial. That place is run like the government. Lobbyist aka Sponsors are the bosses. As a vendor there, the admin there are quite horrible to deal with honestly.

Wasn't me. I'm actually getting ready to do my rod bearings. Crossed the 100k mark. I was remembering a post where this one dude showed up on m3forum.net towards the end and said that the racp and vanos issues were all hype and simply not necessary. Was pretty comical.

I just did rod bearings on an engine with 85k miles and they were smmoth and almost flawless. Oil changes go a long way. I'm not saying don't do them but you probably don't need to. Here's a TSB I found for rod bearing replacement that will be helpful.

I just did rod bearings on an engine with 85k miles and they were smmoth and almost flawless. Oil changes go a long way. I'm not saying don't do them but you probably don't need to. Here's a TSB I found for rod bearing replacement that will be helpful.
