Tell you this. Car pulls so cleanly and idles so smoothly I seriously doubt the valves need adjustment. But at 80k I gotta do it I guess.

Did you have the cam sleeve bolts removed and Loctite? This is even more important than valve adjustment.

For anything other than the valve cover gasket Elring is fine.

I don't know if the aftermarket companies would make it out of the same Viton rubber that BMW specs for their genuine stuff.
