I think it was on this new forum, but maybe not as I can not find it. I remember somebody was re-dyeing cinnamon seats. I remember there were nice pictures in there. Remember where it was and who did it? Thank you!

Sorry I can't help with the thread you're asking about, but I can say that i recently dyed some grey leather parts black using products from leatherworldtech.com . They came out looking better than new.
The process is very forgiving. It's something anyone can do with a little patience. Helps to have a heat gun as well.

thank you for your information. I looked at their site and everything looks really nice apart from their color sample for implants red: looks least red on their chart: https://leatherworldtech.com/bmw-dye/ The code is for older Z3M implants red, that looks exact match to e46 m3 IR on the photos though.

I used a sponge on my dye coat and if I did it again I would airbrush everything. I think if you airbrush the dye it comes out more of a matte sheen from the videos I watched after I did mine.A clear finish design to give more protection, feel, and durablity to your leather products. Can be use on aniline, semi aniline and pigmented leathers. On aniline leathers you will be changing the leather to a semi aniline.Last edited by dilmorecg; 08-03-2020, 11:12 AM.2002 M3 LSB/Kiwi Vert

I've used their kits, semi-gloss is too gloss, you need as matt as possible to get close to the factory finish. This is the seat I did - before:

I paid Kevin over at Master's to redo my entire Caramel interior on my M5. It came out insane, it's been a year it's held up DD'ing it with carrying things and people in the back, folding the seats etc. I'd recco you hit him up first.2004 BMW ///M3 Carbon Black/Cinnamon 6MT
