It doesn't. There are two different diagram pages that you can open, one for SMG and one for manual.

I wouldn't since the SMG specific part with the rest of its components will work just fine.

Is that part what is defintely on your car at the moment?

I don't think there is a check valve on my car. There is definitely not a valve in part 11 61 7 831 336 in post 71 but there looks like there is a valve in my engine bay pic, post 61.
I select based on production year at the door sill, although mine is a 2002 model, my production year is 2001 / 11
In RealOEM, they post both SMG and Manual parts together lik all 4 these options
You need to be very careful to browse what's inside and with the word here: SMG Yes and SMG No

I didn't check what's in my vehicle at the moment, but I am confident that mine is a manual since from factory, and has never been converted or anything.

Thanks. It was because i was putting in the VIN, i only had one 'Crankcase-Ventilation Separator' section shown. I'm impressed if you had 4 'Crankcase-Ventilation Separator' sections to choose from.

Should be for the oil return line from the valve cover, I *think* there is 2 different variations of how the line connects to the pan, one an AN fitting and one a rubber hose/clamp, I may be wrong though.

Thanks, i thought it might be that return pipe. As you mentioned and i saw on RealOEM, a hose and a pipe clamp is shown in the diagram.
