Do you have factory throttle body boot clamps? Or are they worm gear clamps? If your throttle linkage is hitting ANYTHING, it will throw those codes. If you ever get stuck, turn the car off, unplug the front TPS sensor, then plug it back in, restart the car. That resets the EML/Limp mode. If the EML is coming on when you go full throttle, I would venture a guess it is the throttle linkage touching something...or your throttle actuator. I have spare TPS and actuator if you end up needing one, PM me.

Just drove the car for 15 mins. Eml light on. Check engine light on. Limp mode.. Scan car got codes p0121-throttle position sensor/switch A circuit range/performance....p0223-throttle/pedal position sensor/switch B circuit high....p1637-throttle valve position control/ control deviation.. So I'm aiming for the gas pedal next.

Check your throttle linkage, make sure it isn't touching anything.

Eml light
Got a eml light on. Then car went into limp mode, check the codes and got p0121 and p0221. I changed the tps sensor next to the oil filter. Drove the car about 5 mins, ran fine. Then slight hesitation around 2500 rpm. Eml light didnt come back on.. Will go for a 30 mins drive next. In case it comes back on, should I change the one under thr air intake or the gas pedal?Tags: None
