did the RE mounts fix the issue?

I put on a SS sport and my passenger tips sit more inside as well. Runnig new OE hangers and I even flipped the passenger hanger to face "incorrectly" and the tips still not as flush as driver side. I am running new section 2 to 3 gaskets and I thighten those bolts before I tightened the bolts that mount the muffler to the hanger.

I wonder if its a design flaw with SS?

I think it's a design flaw as I've tried several things to try and manipulate the OE hangers. I will find out this week hopefully as I'm finally scheduled to pick up the car.

Would the Rogue item help? It looks like it can be adjusted fore and aft

ohhh thats exactly what would help. This is awesome and better than the powerflex ones. The larger bolt holes allow you to fine tune the muffler position for sure. I was going to cut the mounting bracket on the muffler and reweld it but this item is a much better idea. I am kind of hestitant to go with it though because it basically eliminates any muffler back/forth motion and i am afraid it would rip the mounting bolts off the bottom of the spare tire area. The OEM hangers are designed to allow for back/forth movement during acceleration and braking.

A little update for those of us who are running Supersprint Sport mufflers and mis-aligned tips. I purchased the Rogue muffler hanger mentioned above when the V2 version was out, didn't realize there was a V3 available now.

Anyhow, I was going to install the hanger a few weeks ago and got underneath the car and didn't really like the solution. It will undoubtedly add NVH and also I didn't want to accidentally break the exhaust mounting bolts as I understand they can be a bit flimsy.

I took the car to a local muffler shop and they did a pretty good job WITHOUT using the rogue hanger. They loosened the nuts between section 2 and 3 and did the adjustment that way. The passenger side is probably a cm recessed compared to the driver side but looks a thousand times better than it did before. Attached are some before and after pictures for you to digest.
