My setup is just on the yes side of being in range for the springs, and my car is 300 lbs lighter than stock, the springs I used are stiffer (less static spring compression), and the stiffer springs have more useable travel.
If you're not concerned about the tire clearance with less aggressive offsets, you could get a Vogland or Swift 8" long 300 lb spring and be good to go.
edit: vogtland has a 7.5" spring that has 4.92" of useable travel. If you have a camber plate that mounts the spring higher, that might be able to get just above the tire.
