On the bright side, my new wheels come today and I bought a set of Continental Extreme ContactSports so I'll get them fitted on Monday. They have a 60-day no-questions-asked trial, so worst comes to worst, I hate them and can return and get something different or PS4S which will hopefully be available by then.
Thanks for the help everybody!

Right now I am on Conti ECS and they are great tires.
I'm also currently on the Conti ECS (since late 2019) and they're getting a bit worn. From what I've read here and other places, I think I'll be giving the Generals a try next.
I previously had Firehawk Indy 500. They were good in the dry but a bit sketch in the wet. I needed a tire with good wet traction so I went with the Conti ECS after the FirehawksLast edited by zzyzx85; 02-07-2021, 12:16 PM."your BMW has how many miles!?"

Curious if anyone has had any luck sourcing PS4's in the past few weeks. Still holding out to replace my rears (265/35ZR19) that are about done. Don't really need to drive the car these days, but it's tough to see her sit in the garage too.2004 E46 M3 - 6MT with a few OEM CSL bits

Just want to shout out to the PS4s again, mine are toast in the rear and I can't believe how comfortable/quiet they still are and how long they lasted, pretty much a no brainer. Since the car is up for sale and I didn't feel like donating PS4s to the new owners, I replaced with a cheaper (but good looking) option this time, Advan Apex. Will report back if I get any serious time with them.

I cant get over the vague and slow steering feel on ps4s because of how soft the sidewall is, but that's why they are so comfortable.

I've spent the last two months with Continential ExtremeContactSports and have been really impressed with them. The ride/road noise is easily as good as the PS4S and the grip is also excellent. Can't comment much on wear yet but I did drive 2200 miles to San Diego and back and they showed basically no wear. I also drove through torrential rains which it handled really well. However, the snowstorm I hit coming back home from San Diego was a bit sketchy AF...don't recommend that tire in the snow.
