Have you thought about picking up tires when you're down here or on the way? Kind of sucks to do it on a trip but it's an option. If you need some recs for SoCal, my guys at Tire Central have taken care of me and my family for over a decade. Other quality shops are Rcompound and 714 tires

Long story short, I took my old ZCP wheels in to be refinished and had them throw out the old tires. Turns out my old wheels were trash so now I have no tires since they were thrown out. I borrowed a set of wheels from a buddy, but were a super aggressive set off his drift car and fitment wasn't great, so we're back on jack-stands. So the car has been without wheels for a month except for the single drive out of the garage to take some glamour shots with the Work Emotions.

On the bright side, my new wheels come today and I bought a set of Continental Extreme ContactSports so I'll get them fitted on Monday. They have a 60-day no-questions-asked trial, so worst comes to worst, I hate them and can return and get something different or PS4S which will hopefully be available by then.

      Thanks for the help everybody!

If it's not a DD, I like Kumho Ecsta V720's

My go to for regular street driving has always been Falken. They have a lot of different street tire options whether you’re looking for spirited drives in the canyons to eco friendly tread patterns.

I am really thinking of ordering the Generals next for the M3, since i dont drive it much any more. Loved the first set i had in 2007ish LOL.

Right now I am on Conti ECS and they are great tires.

I'm thinking the exact same haha.

I'm also currently on the Conti ECS (since late 2019) and they're getting a bit worn. From what I've read here and other places, I think I'll be giving the Generals a try next.

I previously had Firehawk Indy 500. They were good in the dry but a bit sketch in the wet. I needed a tire with good wet traction so I went with the Conti ECS after the Firehawks

Yeah contis are great but for the amount i drive, price wise nd good performance i prefer the generals. Let us know how it goes bud and best of luck.

I only put about 2-3k miles a year on the e46m3 and around 800 miles/year on our e93m3. I've been working from home since 2015 and most of our city trips / food & shopping is done in the i3. So I wasn't too worried about tire life. Glad to know you're enjoying them and they're good in the wet.

Curious if anyone has had any luck sourcing PS4's in the past few weeks. Still holding out to replace my rears (265/35ZR19) that are about done. Don't really need to drive the car these days, but it's tough to see her sit in the garage too.

Discount tire/Americas tire look like they have it.
Just want to shout out to the PS4s again, mine are toast in the rear and I can't believe how comfortable/quiet they still are and how long they lasted, pretty much a no brainer. Since the car is up for sale and I didn't feel like donating PS4s to the new owners, I replaced with a cheaper (but good looking) option this time, Advan Apex. Will report back if I get any serious time with them.

I cant get over the vague and slow steering feel on ps4s because of how soft the sidewall is, but that's why they are so comfortable.

I've spent the last two months with Continential ExtremeContactSports and have been really impressed with them. The ride/road noise is easily as good as the PS4S and the grip is also excellent. Can't comment much on wear yet but I did drive 2200 miles to San Diego and back and they showed basically no wear. I also drove through torrential rains which it handled really well. However, the snowstorm I hit coming back home from San Diego was a bit sketchy AF...don't recommend that tire in the snow.

Although id say that the comfort factor is indiscernible to me between the two, the tread life and dry grip is certainly noticeable. The only area i felt the contis edged out ps4s were in wet grip
