This is by far the most irritating thing I've ever designed. There is very little room for the reservoir to actually fit and getting it just right without it touching anything else in the engine bay is a pain. Now it's the Christmas break I'm hopeful of getting some time to finish iterating this and arrive at a solution.
Wow that’s a huge undertaking, I can imagine how many iterations that takes to make incremental tweaks and reprint a version to try over and over. Absolutely killer design! If you nail it and wanna sell one I would happily pay for that solution!

Haha yeah it's been a pain. For something seemingly so simple, exact positioning is key.

Oh as soon as I am happy with it I'll be sharing the STL for everyone to use :-)

I feel like it's a bit too late in the process for this to be of help, but let me know if you want a 3D scan of the area. Having the physical constraints available in CAD cuts down the number of iterations by a lot.

I think I actually have one somewhere, but without the nearby components. If that’s helpful as well.

Sorry both - I somehow missed the notifications on this thread and have only just seen your messages.

Yeah what I should have done when I started this is taken scans of the area, with the airbox installed, and also done a scan of the reservoir as well (I only have iPhone for scanning, but actually probably good enough for this purpose). I did get a scan of the general area and that helped somewhat, but it's getting the exact angle and orientation of the reservoir that's a PITA. the lateral space is so limited that 1 degree here and there makes all the difference, plus it took me a few too many iterations to realise that the reservoir actually needs to "tip forwards" if you will as well to help clear the hood lining properly.

Thanks very much for the offers - would have been much better to start with the scans, but hopefully almost there now!
