Disable all Cold start routines?

Many moons ago i was given the following method below of deleting the three parts of the cold start routine. So, SAP disable, fuel enrichment and perhaps timing?

Anyway, i never actually tried it because i wanted to know what each instruction did.

I managed to decode some of it but not all. Does anyone know what each step achieves, especially the part in bold?


Disable all Cold start routines:
Search for B4 B2 6C 4D 9A and change B4 B2 00 4D 9A - Cold start - K_TI_TMOT_KS - Set to 26 for -10 degrees FI Cold Start

Search for 01 02 01 00 01 06 and change to 01 02 00 00 01 06

Search for FF 00 11 94 05 DC and change to FF 00 00 00 05 DC

Search for 00 00 00 00 00 82 00 82 00 78 00 78 00 00 00 00 and change to 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Search for 01 FF 04 B0 5F AA and change to 00 FF 04 B0 B9 B9

Search for AA 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 02 03 28 27 FF and change to AA 01 01 01 01 01 01 00 01 02 03 28 00 FF - DTC AA - SAP Minimum flow of secondary air

2. Search for 01 02 01 00 01 06 and change to 01 02 00 00 01 06
K_TZ_KATH_CONTROL - disable timing intervention from cat heating

3. Search for FF 00 11 94 05 DC and change to FF 00 00 00 05 DC
K_KATH_NMAX - set nmax for cat heating to 0 so that engine speed is always above threshold and cat heating is therefore never active.

4. Search for 00 00 00 00 00 82 00 82 00 78 00 78 00 00 00 00 and change to 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
KL_KATH_T_AKTIV- set kath heating time to zero

Note that only one of 3/4 is required, they both achieve the same result.

5. Search for 01 FF 04 B0 5F AA and change to 00 FF 04 B0 B9 B9
K_SLS_OBD - Disable SLS (secondary air pump) OBD diagnosis function.
K_SLS_UB_MIN/K_SLS_UB_MAX - set the required supply voltage excessively high so that SLS is effectively always disabled.
