On the inside, the factory receiver. Keeps idiot lights off and the pre tensioner in play.

On the outside I have sedan sliders— so I use the factory lap belt attachment point, with a clip in adapter that BK makes.

Obioban ahhh, ok. I'm not on any of those.

      I have https://www.murraymotorsport.com/mur...ts-mur1130-015

I know, I know..I'm trying to get into the right spot. I'm guessing I need a new seat mount that has a bracket right?

How are you running that harness with the factory receiver? Is there some belt that schroth sells that can be swapped out? Or did you just grab a buckle and thread the harness through that?

          Bringing this one back.

Your configuration looks like just what I need. Were the Profi 2 ASM belts long enough out of the box to accommodate the BK R-1246 rear deck mounts, or did you have to order them extra long? Do you use the snap in attachments to attach the belts to the rear deck mounts?

I am in deep enough that its time for a head and neck restraint. I am considering either a Hans or the Simpson Hybrid. I would be interested to hear what you are using and how you like it.

          Thanks.

I use the R-1246 rear deck mount, but I'm tall, so I run the seat pretty far back. If you're average height or short, they're probably not going to be long enough.

I do use the Schroth clip in attachments, to the R-1246 rear deck mount. Also for the outboard lap belt. Inboard lap belt I have clip into the factory seat belt receiver (like the quick fit does), so I get the benefit of the pretensioner and so I don't get a seat belt light on the cluster.

              Many thanks.

Guess I will reach out to Schroth and ask how best to measure and determine the length I will require.

Any opinions on the various head and neck restraint options?

I've been using the same Hans device for 20 years now, so no opinions on anything current

I use a hybrid device mostly because I instruct - can be used with stock 3pt seat belts.

I think a hybrid device provides better lateral restraint at the expense of some forward restraint. It is a little easier to get into the car - doesn't get hung up on a containment seat - and you can turn your head slightly more. But a HANS is easier to put on and more comfortable IMO.
