I've seen a lot of chatter recently about TTFS tunes. I've had mine for ~18k miles (mostly highway, no track) and been really happy with it. At the time I told Frank my priorities were reliability and throttle response. Should I be concerned? I really don't want to go back to stock as the stock throttle response is abysmal 🤮

Fly-by-wire throttle for each cylinder and that's abysmal? Wow..that must be some tune.

If those were your priorities then I imagine your "tune" isn't a power tune.

The shop did a perfect color match. The "soft touch" on the bottom doesn't feel the same though. Frankly, it feels a lot better. That "soft touch" finish is trash.

Is Bring a Trailer the only way to sell a sorted E46 M3 nowadays? I though I'd gauge local interest with AutoTrader - so far I've had one scammer and two thieves inquire

I sold my Le Mans Blue E53 x5 4.8is on bring a trailer about 2 years ago or so. It was a great experience. Car sold to the highest bidder, and it was done and done. Also got about $4k more than my asking price on classified adds that sat for about 3 months online before I put it on BAT haha. I don't think I am ever going to list a car again for sale privately.

I tried to sell my STI on Autotrader two years ago; full of scammers and not one real lead. I'd look at other outlets depending on what I'm selling, especially given the cost to list on Autotrader. If I sold my M3, BaT / CaB for sure. I've sold my commodity vehicles to a local dealer with decent results.

Agreed that Autotrader is scam central. No experience with BAT, but I would certainly list it on this forum if I was selling mine.

I bought my M3 on BAT, and was a great experience. The car was local so i didnt need to ship so it relatively easy.

And don’t know when I’ll be buying another non new car, but I really want to go through the experience bidding on one haha. Selling was really fun watching people go crazy the last hour of the auction, and was very exciting. I’d imagine the buying side is even more of a rush haha.

I have to say that I overpaid for the car, I did get in a bidding war with another person. Was a rush placing the bids then a sudden, "what the hell did i just do"
