Cleared codes with OBD scanner, now car won't start. HELP!!!

    Sure you can do that too. It requires modifying the software in your DME though.

    Resync is probably the simplest option.

      Resync is probably the simplest option.
      Yes ews is nice to have especially if you're not parked in a garage all the time. It's easy to beat the tumblers even with the Lazer cut. It's getting past the computer that's tricky to thieves. You remove that and you're making it that much easier to steal. Plus you're not 100% sure that's your issue. Try a resync like stated or get it professionally diagged. If you're not familiar with cars you can cause more problems trying to delete the ews, and then it's just more of a headache for the actual mechanic

        All good advice. I am going to go the INPA route and get that downloaded and set up.

          It was an issue with an older version on the Foxwell scanner. I had to realign the EWS. I ordered a cable and installed INPA, worked like a charm. Thanks all.

            Now that you have INPA, you can clear any codes now without worrying. For me INPA is my go to scanner for my M3
