Do you have a first batch BlueBus? I remember selling two units outside of these areas and I would swear they were already replaced.

            Thanks!

BlueBus doesn't actually play the songs so this is not really possible I don't think. Depends what you mean exactly. Do you mean cross fade between songs? I guess it could do some thing like fade in at start up or when doing a play/pause by adjusting its output volume.

There are media players (PlexAmp being one that I use on Android) that can cross fade directly during playback when changing to the next song.

This is correct -- I don't have access to the Bluetooth stream at that level. I can mess with the volume, but it would be janky and not worth it.

                    May will come soon enough

For you February order guys, the units are here and ready to go, but I'm missing the cVc license so I can't yet ship them. Qualcomm should have it to me sometime this week.

                    Thanks!

I'm in for the Bluebus, #1507. May can't come soon enough.

I have both the SES connector (capped off w/ black cap and hanging) and the 54pin which is plugged into the silver box, I believe the factory bluetooth box. I ordered the 54 pin adapter with my Bluebus, that should be sufficient correct?

That's all you need! The BlueBus will bolt right into the tray that holds the factory TCU/BT module that you've found.

I used to have a nearly identical one (perhaps the old version of it?) and it worked great with my BMW Business CD system. Since then, however, I made the upgrade and am living that Avin life. LOVE that unit.
I'm as confused as you are.

There are other similar units available, though none come close to the level of integration that the BlueBus has other than the Intravee II, which was iPod only (meaning no Bluetooth).

I hear good things about the AVIN, but the BlueBus is definitely intended for those of us who want to keep the interior OE
