BBS E88 / Pilot Sport 4s Leaking Air From Bead Seams

Just as the title says, my E88 and Ps4s combo are leaking air from the little seam marks where the bead sits. Has anyone else had this issue or know what causes this? How would I go about fixing it?

Brought them to the tires shop and they said they will try some bead sealer on them. They said there is no other way to mount the tire "better".

I would dismount the tire and see if there is any damage (rip/tear or missing chunk) on the tire bead itself from mounting the tire.

I asked Shirmer what they would do in this situation and they said that the "anti-slip" texture on the lips of the E88s makes it difficult for the tire to seat completely sometimes. They said to fill the tire to 90psi to let it seat then bring it down to the desired PSI.

^^The exact video I had rattling around in my brain when I saw 90psi.

Hell I used to get sketched out filling my dually tires (now sold), sticking my arm way back in there for that inner tire and your face next to the bead on the outer tire. And those wheels and tires are built for high psi, just like that video.

At 90 psi on something like a Michelin PSS/PS4 or equivalent, I'd actually worry about damaging the tire too at twice the max inflation rating, but this could be me jumping to conclusions with dramatic effect

Wasn't casting doubt - they definitely know their stuff and those E88s are likely STOUT wheels. But if I were to attempt that, I'd 1) reconfirm 9-0 isn't a typo and 2) use the longest [edit] air chuck [/edit] extension I could find 3) put something meaningful between me and it.
