Realistically there's probably a slim chance of a colour change haha, and even if I did I'm not sure I could bring myself to change out the m-texture which is probably my favourite part of the car.
This is the dream though:
I’m not usually supportive of colour changes. But this one I would be 100% behind
Respray. You already have one of the best interiors, might as well change to one of the greatest exteriors. If your paint is tired and has unoriginal patches you might as well make it the way you want to be.
If you do end up respraying the car you could try a different BMW green that wasn’t offered on the E46 M3. Fern green, Boston Green, Goodwood Green Pearl, etc.
Missed this post somehow.
Agree with this 100%. If you're going thru the hassle, headache and wallet depletion, don't limit your imagination. You are already "ruining" the car from a purist's viewpoint by respraying, so shop around to see what other non-factory colors are out there. You might end up right back to OG, but give other colors some thought.
