Thats 100% a shadow cast by the seam sealer around the wheel well and the flash from the camera. Not usually where cracks form anyway.

Good place to crack. Don't even have to drop the subframe. Shove a welder in there and you have a brand new car.

Ha. I was just talking to my friends about this auction. Any other color - it’s a $12k car, but people typically pay money for things they like, so, yeah.

last four LSB Auctions make that $90k LSB from a couple years ago a really solid deal:

These auctions are freaking ridiculous. I have a hard time paying more than 40 grand for a E46 M3 to be honest.

I think most of us here are dinosaurs when it comes to these cars. I suspect that as the e46 is approaching (or surpassed) the 20 year historic mark, it is now or never for all the hold outs looking to get into one of these.

I own Laguna seca blue M3 and I have to say this is crazy . I know this is iconic color but even with this crazy market I wouldn't pay more than 20k for 176k car with 2 damages.
My opinion about last 5 auctions :
30k for 88k tired carbon black/grey convertible with accident - I wouldn't pay more than 20k for it.
37k SMG alpine white/cinnamon - sold for 37k - I think is even worth 40k
46k carbon black/ black - sold for 50k - I wouldn't pay more than 40k - car wasn't perfect
28k carbon black/ cinnamon convertible - sold for 54k - I could pay 50k

Yup, SMG option on the vin. Also has the SMG cluster.
