Wish I could recover my old build journal. For some reason I thought someone said they had done that from the old forum archives on google. I couldn't find it though
I think the whole problem was there were no backups, or he didn't pay for them, or something. There was some reasoning behind what happened but it was very much a massive facepalm type of moment.
Good lesson in how fickle and fleeting the internet can be. On one hand, terrible things can live online forever, while actually great and useful things can be washed away at a moment's notice.
You can use way back machine and find SOME of the old content.

Was it the admin with the E36 in his profile pic? Can't recall the username. (Sirius?)
That would be great if there was a backup, but the probability of getting the original or a backup was probably much higher a few years ago.
Don't think Sirius will be able to help based on his updates from a few years ago on the M3Forum.net Facebook page. Sounded like he had been locked out of the admin tools and was struggling to get the site owners to release anything.
