    Windshield washer reservoir mounting

    Real OEM refers to this part here to screw the windshield washer bolts into. But I can’t see how this would clip onto the crash bar. Is real OEM wrong?

    It should be part 07129901748 and plug in to those rectangular cutouts.

          Any spots come to mind? Pretty sure regular e46 reservoir doesn't mount there. Doubt regular e46 kevlar has them.

          All my local facebook guys parting out m3 have these missing for some reason.

            I think the balls for the "suction cups" on the front bumper use these, but not 100% sure they're the same part.

            This might also help: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partxref?q=07129901748

              I just looked up the purchase record when I ordered all the parts for converting mine from metal carrier to Kevlar. I got 8 of these and 4 of the suction cup screws. And I did not get any other type of cage.
              So these should also be used on the driver side for the horns and for the washer tank on the passenger side.

                    Reviving this. Has anyone been able to find a good replacement for these? Specifically part number 07129901748. It has a description of ST6,3-ZNS but I'm not sure what that means...

                    I too am in need of replacement for all the things that attach to kevlar bumper. I picked up a new E46 project car (more on that later) and I'm in the process of dismantling it.

                    It seems like this *might* work (description ST4,8-2) but it's a gamble if it's the right size: 07129904323. Here is everywhere 07129904323 is used on the E46: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...323&series=E46

                    My current situation:

                      Just stumbled on the dimensions for this. On Real OEM 07129901748 (#7) is as follows:

                      X=7.6
                      Y=9.3
                      Z=15

                      For 07129904323, there are no dimensions listed (again for #7)

                        Just based on pictures I think 07129904323 will be too small to work as a replacement.

                        What about 32411095443, will work with an M6 bolt. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ge-32411095443

                          I actually have a few of those on hand. Don't think they'll work unfortunately.

                          The prestol-cage that's spec'ed for the kevlar bumpers (07129901748) is for that sheet metal screw bumper plug: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ce-51117894986

                              Grabbed these from an eBay listing. Lots of them seem to be missing, probably the weight of the fluid eventually fatigues it as your kevlar looks a bit damaged.

                              I would fab a new solution. Use some anchor nuts, or get a small strip of aluminum scrap to slide in the side opening and line up the original holes, either tap it or put rivnuts. You could even epoxy the strip in place. Will definitely hold better by bracing from behind than just hanging off those clips anyways.
