Ya, you’ve said that before...your car still vibrated even w/the raised rpms?

Just replaced mine with some Cortecos today. They old ones appear to be original at 159k. I certainly feel the improvement and it is as smooth as I have ever experienced.

I've got the street. As others have said, my main complaint is the vibration caused when the AC compressor comes on at idle.

Yeah you're right, I should try that before anything else. The mounts are great aside from the vibrations at idle.

Actually sorry I remember why I went with the RE Group N mounts now... they drop the engine 5mm... and the increase in stiffness was only 30%. so it meant i had a fresh new feeling but the engine sat at about the same level as it did with my super old worn stock mounts... I can run stock idle speed and get no NVH change. I have MSSMapper so can flick between a tune with 800rpm idle and 1000rpm idle and other than the change in engine note there is absolutely no change in NVH... I would say from my experience that anyone having NVH issues with RE Group N mounts has other issues and they are blaming the mounts.

Maybe because they arent paired with whatever transmissions mounts people are running? - I run RE Group N engine mounts and RE Tranny Mounts and no NVH issues... mind you I also run the TMS Poly Shifter bushing and RE Octane SSK and I can feel everything through that, but at a level I enjoy... but definately no vibration or rattling in the car and this is coming from someone who is lazy and if i break a specialist non generic trim tab I dont bother replacing it if the remaining ones hold well enough so my interior is not as securely in place as stock which should make me more susceptible to rattling etc...

Went with stock mounts and felt no difference at all but at least i know it’s done now. Just received Turner poly FCAB’s.

Well I haven't driven my car too much because of everything that's been going on, but seems like the raised idle has eliminated all the complaints I had. No more vibrations at idle.

I’ve been running the BMW Motorsport Group N mounts for years. Love them. Like others I never noticed a NVH issue.
Been told the RE ones are a good copy and next best thing.

Condor engine mounts with thier soft tranny mounts, because of chassie mounted shifter. Those combined with the lighter steel flywheel idle rough even with the idle turned up. But not that bad, small anoyance.

                    A side note.

I have the Vorschlag Poly Competition motor mounts on the race car. They work very well, BUT if you plan on a clutch replacement or tranny swap make sure you loosen the upper and lower nuts on the Vorschlag engine mounts or the bolts will likely break. My mechanic, nor I knew this and both were broken.

Terry Fair at Vorschlag gave me the heads up on this yesterday when I ordered replacement hardware (https://vorshlag-store.com/collectio...13-upgrade-kit). The actual poly bushings are still in like new condition, albeit a little dirty.

Just don't do poly. Think of it this way...you can go rubber and get kicked in one nut, go solid and get kicked in the other. Go poly and get kicked in both nuts. Poly has the downsides of solid and rubber...no upside.

Includes poly FCABs. What's the over under the passenger FCAB will last 3 months before it melts?

I installed the Vibratec Street. But I think that the idle is a bit rougher.

What idle speeds have you set? I have 900 RPM ...

Has anyone tried the 034Motorsport's Density Line Mounts => https://www.ecstuning.com/b-034motor...4-509-3646~kt/

For reference, I am currently running the Vibratec Street and like them...but the passenger side has gotten super squished (along with other signs) that appeared to be about to fail. I was on the original group buy - so my set are about 7 years old with only about 35k miles on them. I know they advertised to be rebuildable, but my research tells me otherwise. I would like to replace it with something similar - slightly firmer than stock (my stock passenger mount collapsed about a quarter inch shorter than driver side after only 25k miles), but don't want much added NVH. The 034 mounts advertised to be made from solid 55 durometer rubber, where stock hydraulic mount are from 45 durometer with voids. Any inputs/experiences on the 034Motorsport's Density Line Mounts would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
