I've just received a set today from ECS, the middle flange on the shorter bank is set back from the outer flanges about a 1/16" of an inch or less, doesn't seem like it's really going to be an issue though as the bolts should pull it in enough to be flush.
Welds looks pretty good, I was disappointed to find none of the hardware to plug the O2 sensor holes present, although the cap for the EGT hole was there.
I apologize for the sub-par pictures.

All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.
PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

Received mine recently from the groupbuy. Came without installation hardware. I reached out to TMS/ECS and they told me that the headers do not come with installation hardware. Do you know who you spoke with at ECS?
Also, the flanges didn't look completely flush on my set either. To measure, I placed the middle flange flush to a flat surface and inserted firm printer paper in between the other flanges and the surface. I then used a micrometer to measure the paper. Long story short, both headers had one of the flanges out of spec by 0.77mm.
Is that within expected quality range? 0.77mm seems like a decent amount to me, to stretch by torqueing the header bolts.2006 M3 ZCP coupe, jet black on black, 6 speed
