Eibach lowering springs... which struts ?

Going to install eibach lowering springs for a mild / streetable drop, but wondering which struts i should match them up with ?

It feels like Konis yellow are the consensus here. I have Eibach springs too waiting to install and I'll likely go Konis. To tag onto your post a little, it would be helpful to know (including struts) what all needs to be purchased at the same time for this install?

I would do the ones circled in red. If the strut shaft boots are damaged you will want to replace those as well. Mine had 115k miles and were fine.

Another vote for Koni yellows. TCK Koni yellows for the rear, if you want them to be adjustable without removing them from the car.

You'll be waiting on them a few months. I went B6 for simple availability and I'm not regretting it at all. I see what they mean about the monotube harshness but it was world better than my failing stock suspension. Some people have issues with Koni longevity, some have issues with Bilstiens driving style. You are also more likely to bottom out Bilstiens.

B6 hands down. Made for each other.

B6. Esp with camber plates so you can get a little more drop without sacrificing travel. Then I pull the bottom spring pad in the rear since the eibachs only drop .6"

Putting my lack of knowledge on full display. Is the spring not subject to movement on the perch or generating some noise without the pad?

Not really movement because of the center circle that sticks up and holds it. Plus the weight of the car will hold it down. If it doesn't move, it won't make noise mostly likely. My concern would be it not distributing the weight better and cracking the control arm. Metal is brittle where rubber isn't and is there to absorb some of the shock. It's a lot easier to check for cracks without the rubber pads there though.

I've always liked the Bilstein's mono-tube damper design over the Koni's.

Now you tell me, lol. I have eibach / koni yellows with plates and do not like the rake with the rear sitting higher. Will have to try that trick over winter.

Spring will be effectively welded to the control arm once loaded. I have tall RSMs that correct droop so the spring never comes unloaded over a driveway entrance or whatever as well.

Are we on 15mm rear pads? Believe I've seen 3mm pads somewhere but may have to trim to fit.

Im on the opposite camp. Im near the city and want something maybe 0.5inch drop on all sides nothing much more. Ive seen eibach drops looking like their slammed so i have to ask is it really 0.6inch drop for standard eibachs?
