The car sounds a bit smoother and feels a bit smoother but i'll wait and see after the CAD brackets are installed. Should make a good difference.

Can’t believe I’m about to pay $100 for this shit bc my $5k exhaust setup rattles like a bitch. Thanks for the links!

Also 0-60motorsports, if that is an OEM clamp and you have a P/N, or even it's not and you have a link I llike the idea and would like to try.

What prompted you do this and did you notice any difference in regards to less NVH?

I see that a few have gone all out and got the CAD brackets, I may do that down the line as well.

Thank you Bry5on for posting this info:

I've been putting off starting this thread for a long time, and each time I work on the car I wish I had a place to drop updates. I'll start off here and fill in the details as I go along. Background: I grew up working at my father's indy BMW/Mini shop, owned many BMWs, several Porsches and one 50 year old jag that's now

Got it out of the garage and got to drive it for the first time this year. Also, now 8 weeks post op from left ankle surgery (snapped my Fibula) so it was the most normal/best feeling thing to have done in while.

Def worth a shot. Removing the footrest assembly is about a 10 min job. Easy to try before full commit

I like the idea of no auto headlights…

You're telling me dude. I remember LMs used to be even less. There's a bunch of optional extra charges for anodizing/painting the entire barrel, cerakote, but it's always been pay to play.

I love Fikse wheels and more so now since none of the kids these days know what the heck they are!

Ordered another set of Fikse Profil 10s copying BBS LM specs for the E46 M3.

Set below went on my M4 CS keeping the stock diameter stagger 19/20:

They're way more expensive than my LMs due to the fact that they're made wholly in USA/Canada. I consider the LMs to be the best looking wheels of all time and ran them back in 2006, but I just can't get over my love for black wheels. My 300 mile LMs will go into storage or be sold depending on my mood when the Fikse wheels arrive.

SMG shifting was a tad clunky (in manual mode) so I ran the teach clutch curve characteristics and followed with the clutch slip point procedure and all is right. I do this every year or two.

I have Auto Enginuity that makes this super simple, but you can also use the Schwaben or DIS.

In Schwaben you can access via Service->Drive->Transmission Control->After replace clutch/clutch slave. No need to run the vent (bleed) procedures listed there.

    In DIS I can't remember.

New gas funnel rubber gasket/gromet installed

New OE CSL headlight switch installed. Maybe only one more of these left in Germany at BMW so I had to jump
On this and get it while I could. Looks simple and lovely.

Also installed the OE BMW exhaust bracket on my SS exhaust that one of the members here posted in their build thread (can't remember who) but thank you. Pics are his and not mine but you get the picture lol.
