Put back the unfiltered section to test fit the black hardware. The stainless steel hardware was just too flashy.

now I kind of find annoying that the carbon parts don’t match each other. The previous MAF box had the same shade and shin as the engine cover, but the old Karb is a bit more gray and is 1x1 v 2x2.

should I sell my Karb for a new one 🤔

Got bored so decided to slap on Dinan ITBs on the LSB. Keeping this as a collector of sorts, so it's getting the full Dinan S2 treatment.

Anyway, I've completed the license plate lights wiring, using the guide found on these boards.

I plan on test fitting everything tomorrow, so far it looks fairly plug and play, Karbonius seems to have fixed the inner tail light issues this batch.

Pretty sure I got one from the bad batch. Body shop had to do some trimming to get everything to fit just right.

Just pulled my headlights last week getting ready for the season. Disassembled, cleaned and put in fresh gaskets. They're a pain in the ass but its also in large part to L/R alighnment of that lens vs. the clips. There is some leeway and it's easier to get it to snap shut all around when the clips are aligned in a specific way.

I do this every year and when i didn't get it to snap shut all around in the past, moisture would get into the lens when I'd wash the car. I also have ocd and YMMV.

Swapped on some Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and new carbon fiber pads, painted the calipers black, added 20mm spacers up front, and finally installed the Motorsport Hardware stud conversion kit:

I had the same issue when redoing my OEM lens and did the same thing as far as reusing the old seal. It eventually ended up getting dirty on the inside of the lens somehow, so then I just fought and swore my way through installing the new ones. There was some dude on YouTube that had some tips and tricks I think I looked at - but it was a PITA, no doubt. I do remember taking the whole damn light out and doing it on a table instead of trying it while on the car. Ever since the new seal it's been all good.

After a year and a half of sitting, saving, and researching…I can finally say, I did it. 8K has never felt better. Would I buy a car with a blown engine again? Probably not. Was it worth it? Hell yeah.

Also my 333rd post on this forum.

    Going back to CSL intake.

but I wanted to reinforce all port connectors and the inner posts as there were some spots where I felt more could be better.

I found this product to be perfect, only downside is the color but is internal so not a problem

And once applied and smeared around it looks like so.

One of my rivnuts had become loose and was spinning freely so I fixed it and applied some epoxy to all others to future proof it.

I also put back the boots using OE worm clamps
