Switched out the corner lights, the yellowing was not very pleasing:

126700 miles, oil change, replaced all 6 ignition coils and oil separator. BUT I think the valve cover stud bolt near the VANOS sheared, I didn’t even tighten it much. Guess something else to fix when I change the valve cover gasket 😂

Started getting the red battery light recently, so just changed my alternator. First reman I got was noisy, so had to do the job again. But now the M3 is happy

I installed euro center console armrest delete. Looks so much better. Waiting for some new parts also (radio bracket mount new + zhp boots + zhp steering wheel + mats)
I needed to do something else so I started polishing the exhaust tips aswell..

this has been a learning and frustrating journey but is almost there

I had applied black sealer to help with color coverage and better matching. Sealer was supposed to be smooth but it has some texture and did not want on my finish so I had to wet sand it. But the repair is imperceptible to most

and this is how it looks now. You can see the splatters if you look closely. The issue was that when I did some test shots, I was not pulling the trigger all the way and cause some paint to run out of the tip, which clogged on nozzle and I did not notice this until I saw the splatters but the damage was already done

^This was the last update I had posted on my DIY project, I ended up having to take it to a shop as it was getting very troublesome to achieve the results I wanted, so I quit painting and clearing myself.

That said, I think the end result is great and the repair is imperceptible. I am convinced no body shop would have put the effort, done the job, or do it reasonably priced.

I also finished my rear big brake setup with e92 rotors

I put it in the garage in November and haven't driven it since. NJ likes the pound the roads with salt because everyone has a hard on with seeing blacktop every time it snows. I don't wanna subject it to that shit.

Sold my 2003.5 Laguna/Laguna yesterday and my 2006 Estoril is supposed to leave in the next weeks. I will continue to do the GT4 Composites parts for the E46 M3 but looking to switch to Porsche 718 platform in the future.

                            I had 20 E46 M3 since 2007, 2 E46 Touring, 1 Z3MC, 1 Z4MC, 1 E90 M3 and other various BMW non M.

If I get another E46, it will be a dedicated track car.
