My cars are at the Panama Canal now, about another month until they land in Germany. Then my guess is 1-2 weeks for the cars and all our household goods to clear customs, get on a truck, and be delivered to us in southern Germany. We are in a small town about 2hrs from the Ring. I found a ~1000 sq/ft workshop that we can move into May 1st, that will act as our garage and work space.

Depending on how much time and money I can throw at the cars, I think I can be registered and on the road legally by June, maybe sooner! My goal is to do it as cheap as possible, getting them legal first and then later reproaching any new upgrades or mods. There’s a decent amount of parts that will have to be changed in order for me to register the cars for road use here.

Want to give a shoutout to Altaran for fielding my endless wave of questions about TÜV and other general questions about Germany! We got some good people in this forum!

Here are some excellent photos courtesy of the shipping company lol.

installed the correct hardware for the rear shock mount, including adding the reinforcement plate that was missing. then I made the final ride height adjustments on my new ohlins and got things set right at the usual 13.5F/13R.
