You do have to modify the harness a little for manual cars regardless which is why I never bothered personally.

Replaced failed/leaking batteries in the alarm siren. Of course the alarm siren is sonically welded together so out came Mr. Hacksaw. Careful cutting and some epoxy to put it back together. Made a harness to relocate the new battery to the DME area so I can check on them.

Im SMG but i didnt bother because well it was easier and quicker to modify the non CSL harness with my tech. We used BMW wiring diagrams which he has access to in 2 minutes which helped.....

I just wanted to do this to chase down something else which if it is the case i'll post up.....

I finally got around to mounting the Turner urethane front lip that I had picked up a few months ago and painted myself. Looks great but getting out of my driveway unscathed is a challenge at times.

Just got the car back yesterday from a major suspension bushing overhaul. I decided to use Lemforder for almost everything except a couple parts.

              Inner and outer tie rods

              Front control arms and bushings

Dropped the rear subframe and replaced everything.

I used SDW for the RTABs

I changed the control arms to the ECS performance ones. This part 002608ECS01

I’ve had them in the garage a couple years.

I went solid subframe bushings. VAC sells a set of raised bushings.

I changed only the front Diff bushing with OEM.

I’ll be taking the car to the mountains for some fun this weekend. Excited to feel what the refresh has done.

Looks good. I want to add a front lip to mine, any comments on fitment or install?

                Is it this one?

So I had a couple of gremlins hanging around in my 2006 vert:
                  1. trunk seemed slightly misaligned, left and right corner not even, sometimes the trunk doesn't latch immediately, and felt loose (not sure how to explain this, as trunk on my previous one had a "heavy" thud when closing.
                  2. going over bumps I had a sqeak, I could not put my finger on it, thought some bolt was loose or maybe worst case subframe.

Well, today I figured out both !!!!
                  1. trunk latch was loose !!!!! I tightened both screws and its back to normal, alignment and thuddiness 😂
                  2. posted this a while back, one of the trunk supports was missing a rubber cover which I replaced with one from a new bleeder. The metal bolt under the rubber was rubbing against the trunk causing the annoying squeal !!!! I told my kids the sqeal is gone, but why??? this is why !!!!

Had fresh tint installed by L0okitzRaj and his team at Unique Auto Films. Now folks can get a good 👀 at the M-texture from the outside

Looks great! What kind of tint and percentage is it?

Xpel 50% ceramic. It seemed to be the best compromise between privacy and interior visibility.

Gave it a quick indoor wash to clear off all the dust. This was the first time i've done an indoor wash, not sure how I didn't think of doing it before.
