    Finished:
    • Replacing front diff mount bolt and bushing with Rogue Engineering kit to fix stripped out hole from previous owner. This is thankfully the last step in finishing the subframe reinforcement from last summer.
    • Intake and cabin filter replacements
    In Progress:
    • Refinishing the ZCP steering wheel to deal with the worn out alcantara and faded paint. Repainting trim and rewrapping the wheel with a kit I located.
    To do:
    • Oil change
    • Diff and trans fluid change
    • Wash, clay, paint touch up (damn rock chips in the front), full paint correction, and ceramic coat. Need some better weather in Wisconsin ASAP.
    • Replace ZCP rotors. Replace pads with Hawk DTC-60s (or maybe 70s) for the track.
    • Install front brake ducts and run hose to rotors.
    • Replace front tires.
Finished bringing back my ZCP wheel from the grave by rewrapping the cover and repainting the trim piece. Looks 200% better now. Thought I'd share the results. PM me if you want details.

I'm still working from home so my time has been limited, I did however manage to fit my new 280/272 cat cams and DLC coated followers.

I also fix my washer jet pump which was siezed, and fixed the headlight washer hose which was causing my bottle to drain.

I’ve been working on my wagon while stuck at home. So far I’ve done new rtabs, new diff input seal, front diff bushing and cover with new bushings. Been a lot of work but should drive much better without the rear clunk.

          Nothing crazy where. Replaced some
badly needed rear window weather stripping and added angel eyes up front.

Simple project. Just putting an engine in. Did rod bearings, valve adjustment, replaced cam bolts, put my old rebuolt vanos on, screw in studs for headers, did rear main seal which took a total of 5 minutes with the engine out, and fought the entire time it was going in. The way the hoist had it, the engine was slightly lopsided so I had to pick up the top and remove the cowl to get it in. The trick was getting it past the A/C port and not have it rest on the steering column. It was a nightmare but once it was in I just took the next day off because it has taken so much to get to this point. Hard work pays off.

                In progress:
                • Fixing the sandblasted front of my car (lots of rock chips from 100k miles in a rocky soil environment, pre-installed to my ownership)
                • Full paint correction
                • Ceramic coating
                To do:
                • Replace flex joint/giubo
Here area few photos of the rock chip repairs - not perfect but way better.

Let this be a PSA for all those who are repainting their front bumper for whatever reason. Get a clear bra done at the same time. Shop around. I got mine done for $250! Easily some of the best money spent on this car because my bumper is immaculate!

Also, seeing how nice and clear your lenses are got me jealous. When installing my angel eyes I didn't clip my left lens in all the way and a few months later its all foggy and worn away. Im debating wether or not I should just get 2 new ones or simply sand them....

Clear bra was one of the worst things I’ve done to my car.

how so? Have a couple cars with complete coverage, and one with partial, so far so good, but it's only been 3 years on the oldest one. (Xpel on all of them)

Looked like crap after ~8 years. Taking it off took 4 days of effort and misery, and I didn’t even finish removing it (bumper is still covered). I just couldn’t take any more of the removal process.

Look at an older Porsche by the rear vents. All the clear covers they put on cracked and got covered in dirt. It took my dad and I hours to removed his and we scratched the paint up quite a bit.

+1, especially on an Alpine White car. I'd rather just drive it around and pay for a respray every 5 years if it's really that bad.
