Maybe I’ve been misinformed.
It depends on:- The particular bushing's application
- The car's application
- How much one is willing to compromise NVH and longevity for "performance"
- One's definition of "performance"
They're all different. Ranking them is kind of pointless, IMO.2003 Imola Red M3 w/ SMG

Because of the CSL we have an option of monoball bearing in rear lower control arm(Bimmerworld also offers a monoball) but the rear upper control arm does not have an option for monoball bushing/bearing. Is there any interest in such a product? This would be a quality sealed streetable bearing like SyncroDesignWerks rtab.

Performance Eurowerks had monoball lower control arms built by Fall Line which is another option I don't think many are aware of.Last edited by Cronenberged; 11-14-2021, 09:11 AM.

No real options for the upper teardrop shaped rear control arm.

There are these…
E36 / E46 Upper Control Arms (For use with true rear coilover conversation only) A tubular and adjustable upper control arm to replace the factory...
But then going with a rear coil-over creates a bunch of other issues.
- I don’t run a rear sway. One of them has a provision for a link.
- You have to reinforce the upper shock mount area.
- Will the lower shock bolt hold up?
- Sacrifice back side tire/wheel clearance?

On the topic of lower control arms, would CMP's with the "rod end boot" count as fully or semi sealed? Haven't seen much on those other than how people have been mentioning they're unsealed, but I like how they incorporate some 7075-T6 aluminum. I replaced my LCA's with OE Lemforder during the subframe job, but have been considering the CMP's for when I eventually get a new wheel setup.
Would def be interested in a sealed monoball option for the upper control arm once I get around to doing all that.
