The only SC I drove was at Active Autowerke when I was thinking about doing mine, circa ‘12… the 6MT got in the way… I think it would be MUCH better with the paddles… you can afford to drop revs if you’re maxing out every shift… but why?

I should say that’s the only SC E46M I’ve driven… my buddy / mechanic has a SC E9X sedan 6MT that is just insane… silverstone over red… nutz … still, the 6MT gets in the way for me… you can’t get past 3rd anyway so it doesn’t matter… but I wonder if a DCT would even hold the power that thing is pushing… I think he beefed it up when he rebuilt the motor.

I don’t know the market value for these. It’s probably one of the few low mileage 4.8is survivors left in the country. I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells for 50-70k.

the car is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay... and considering there were multiple bidders above the $45k mark, with the second highest bidder bowing out at $53.5k, then the market has spoken. This car is worth $54k

You can get the interior rewrapped with brand new leather and M texture for 5 grand if you really want it that bad.

people are starting to drop crazy money on cars that were in the high 20s to low 30s couple years ago. Must be the same people that were stocking up on toilet paper.
