Truly amazing spec. It's a shame that it's been through 3 accidents considering both spec and mileage...

And, as someone else said above, what a collection!!!! or small part of it?? Imagine what else this guy has in the barn...

Check out this '06 ZCP 6MT - SG with factory M-texture interior and manual seats. Sunroof aside, this is creme de la creme spec, IMO. While this is in Canada, it appears it's originally from US so it should be really easy to take it back. It wouldn't surprise me to see EAG pick it up and sell it for twice the price. The car looks like-new, including seats, steering wheel, center console, etc., so it wouldn't require any freshening up by the looks of it.

              52K miles, $46K USD.

The Alcantara steering wheel adds a sporty touch and enhances grip for an immersive driving experience. a couple incidents on record though which is probably why it's sub $50k

It's amusing to read the copy in ads like this one where you know more about the model than the selling dealer.

They are very minor and shouldn't impact the price significantly, if at all. Ofcourse, everyone prefers a clean carfax but when I see the condition of this car, if I were interested in buying, those minor incidents wouldn't deter me one bit.

                      Right??

It's especially surprising that they didn't talk more about M-texture interior - they are clearly unaware of the rarity of the spec including seats being manual, non-heated, no HK. Truly an enthusiast/collector car, even with the sunroof.

I was hoping I could snake this one… am I crazy to consider an SMG for a “new” DD?

BAT is far too popular these days to snake anything. SMG will keep it less than a manual, but it still won't be a good deal. As far as crazy goes, as an owner of an SMG I wouldn't buy unless I could drive it under load for at least 25 to 50 miles. People can clear codes and an SMG can cause some serious heartache to the unprepared.

My approach if I ever bought another one of these cars would be plan on addressing big 3 and convert to 6MT immediately upon purchase.

I was just thinking how silly and unprepared I was when I bought mine. Took a plane to NC, dealer picked me up in the car after he fixed a couple issues I'd identified, one having to do with some SMG sensor that was a common failure -- it failed on my test drive a couple weeks prior. He changed that sensor, the oil, the SMG fluid, then I completed the deal and IMMEDIATELY DROVE IT 9 HOURS HOME to FL, getting back at like 3am.

I could have easily been stranded in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. But by my reasoning was the car was mint and open checkbook maintained (I knew from the VMI), if it broke down on me with that low mileage and care (60k then) I bought the wrong car and would have sold it immediately. I still think these are 300k mile cars with proper use and maintenance.

                                maw
