F8X M3/M4 CF Drive shaft mod

On the East coast upon investigating this modification how much would it cost to get this done, few driveshaft shops I inquired approximate cost have quoted me $250-$300 (fit, weld, balance) to get this done. Which is not bad at all 🤔 I guess it's all dependent where you live, but then again those are quotes from different shops not actual work performed, will confirm upon actual work completed on the prices.

This isn't a cheap job though. This place is charging about $775 labor and parts. I'm going to bite the bullet for the sake of data but will be trying another shop for future driveshafts. These guys know what they're doing so it's worth the initial hit I suppose. That puts total cost at around $1075 for me. I am using my old stock E46 M3 driveshaft as a donor but according to this thread the 330i driveshaft will work as well and is peanuts cost-wise.
Hoping to have this installed middle of next week.2003.5 MT JB/B - CSL SCHRICK SUPERSPRINT EISENMANN JRZ SWIFT MILLWAY APR ENDLESS BBS/SSR DREXLER KMP SACHS RECARO AR SLON MKRS GSP DMG KARBONIUS CP AUTOSOLUTIONS KOYO

Interesting.
Back in 2015, S55's were snapping these things so BMW went back to metal driveshafts lol.
I took my DSS CF one out because it wasn't balanced correct, if anyone has this finally installed, I'd like to know who you used and if they would do it for all of us.2004 BMW ///M3 Carbon Black/Cinnamon 6MT

Either way— no danger of us snapping them 🤣
