I'm in the middle of my airbox install. Was just about the start splicing into the dme for power and ground wires, but someone brought to my attention this(link) wiring kit which is mostly plug n play.
I was thinking about how they did it, and realized I had thought of this wiring method before, but shied away as I didn't want to be the first to go outside what others are doing.
Basically they share the IAT to MAF harness with the MAP sensor by sharing the power and ground line. Then they run a separate line from the MAP to the DME for signal, which plugs into the open slot.
So before I go splicing the factory wires, does anyone see any issue with cutting into the IAT to MAF harness, and sharing power and ground for the MAP with the IAT wires.
