          I ask the same question. They ruin the market for some teenager or 20 year old who wants a car like this cause it sets the record for future generations. I was 23 when I bought my first used E46. I cant imagine being able to afford them now if I was 23

            Agreed. It seems the later year models with all the options tend to fetch more. And especially if a company puts out a “limited edition” run.
