If it's not a street/dd car, I wouldn't bother with map sensor. Alpha N works great. Remember, CSL uses alpha n too. If you want perfection, so your car feels stock while you lug it around the parking lot, do the map sensor.

There was a lot of fear mongering with alpha N the last few years. Hopefully, collectively, people can get over themselves and admit alpha n is fine.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with alpha n is that you need an alpha n tune. With a MAP sensor you can just run a CSL tune modified for your car spec (manual, stock cams, etc).

Sure, but you want it tweaked too, preferably on the dyno. Which you can do with the csl tune too of course. You'll be spending money for tune and hardware. Not a huge deal $ wise really, but that's not my argument anyway

Leighton e-mailed this morning saying that first batch has made it to turner and has started shipping, apparently some GB members have already received theirs. All GB orders will be fulfilled by the end of June. Mine is currently on its way, and arrives Thursday!

I chatted with Sean at Turner and he said the first wave they received consisted of 15 gloss and 10 matte. Sounds like all but one of the gloss were spoken for by orders that came in before the GB order did, and I was first in line for the one available as I was the first to pay Leighton when he was collecting payments back in January. But there should definitely be other forum members who ordered matte whose boxes are on their way or have arrived!

He also said they're hoping for the next batch to arrive in 1-2 weeks, so, I would expect a large number of GB orders to be fulfilled with that batch.

If anyone's gotten theirs, let's see some pics!

Ehhh... don't agree at all. I ran my first CSL box on straight Alpha N and the current one on CSL firmware/MAF, and it's pretty dramatically better with the CSL/MAP setup. Takes it from feeling like an aftermarket part to feeling like a stock part, in the best way possible.

It looks pretty good though. Like I mention before I would just add a shield like the one from the Eventuri intake. It kinda blocks air from the fan. Goes bolted where the OEM intake sits.
