Fantastic Bry5on. Since you're the same exact size as me and I plan on moving towards the CS shortly, I'll be utilizing this custom bracket if/when you make it available! Great work man.

I would like to test these out sometime. Looks really compact and streamlined.

will there be any sensor faults in the seats that we need to program out? if i were to get CS's i would intend on having the passenger seat sensor installed. etc.

I wired a resistor in so that the passenger airbags will always trigger, then ended up coding it to the same behavior anyway, just to take the guesswork out. Retrofitting the sensor into the CS looked like it could have been tricky and unreliable, so I opted to just always trigger the airbag and delete the sensor. No faults.

has anyone been successful at wiring the recaro heaters with the OEM harness? i know some vendors make a plug and play retrofit, but was wondering if there was a DIY out there.

They won’t work properly, the electrical impedance is fundamentally incorrect. I retrofitted mine with e39 heated seat elements for factory like operation (OEM button) and quick heating. Prior to that I’d attempted to use the recaro/aftermarket style heaters.

                Ask Marek what he does.

My seats work with the factory heat buttons.

But they don’t heat up as fast as the stock ones And I found the heat set point targets to be off as well.

Someone else mentioned that, or maybe it was you in another thread, but mine seem to work fine.

I'm not measuring exact temps or times, but I don't notice anything different than stock

You can also tweak the seat eater values, thiugh I forget how at this point. I found I was never using level two, so I made my level two the factory level three and made my level three more intense.

Did all this back when I still had stock seats, but sine I used e46 seat heater pads in my seats... still applied equally.
