definitely wouldn't describe it as, "a shiatsu massaging chair" lol
Same here as well with combo and experience. Over time the vibration has decreased considerably, post the initial install it had me thinking I was going to swap the engine mounts out as it was considerably worse.

The poly mounts are all different durometers. Have you compared the durometers of the BW mounts and the Revshift stuff?
Struggling find anything online regarding durometers with BW mounts to compare to Revshift

I’ve noticed if I hold the revs at 1k rpm, whole car feels like stock. No NVH problems while cruising or giving the car some beans

How many miles of driving it take to decrease? Compared to post initial install and now, what would you say on a scale of 1 to 10, the NVH is like?

Call Bimmerworld. They'll definitely have info on their own mounts. Might know the Revshift values, too.

Yep, so now go change your idle speed settings
Curious if someone could walk me through how to change the code/tune on my MSS54HP DME to increase the idle speed? I’d like to try setting the idle to 1,000rpm on my rally car… If it’s easy enough to do it with my laptop and cable then I’m all for it otherwise I’ll see what Hassan will charge me to do it. Thanks!

Your tolerance to NVH will certainly increase over those miles

Got a reply from Bimmerworld… meant to be close to Revshift street mounts, but don’t feel like it at the mo. Hoping someone can give me an idea if they do eventually get softer over time

                  Hello,

While we don't have data on the stiffness of our mounts, they will be very close in stiffness to the 80A Street mounts from Revshift.
For what it's worth- I'd probably lean towards the rubber vs the poly. The rubber mounts will have some additional heat resistance in the long run compared to poly.

                  Thanks,
                  Hank Fink

The increased NVH is due to your poly transmissions mounts. Replace those with some rogue rubber units and it will get much better.

Yea, just ditch the poly trans mounts for new stock ones and see what you get. They aren't that expensive and you can swap them in 30 minutes.

I bought my E46 last year and it came with the Bimmerworld race mounts - I hated the NVH. I switched to 034Motorsport mounts and never looked back

I used this mount on 1 side and 1 oem mount on the other. Found it to be a good compromise.

Which side did you end up on needing the stiffer mount?

You can fix the engine mount complaint by installing poly trans mounts. Then all you'll hear is your gearbox rattling.

                                That doesn’t makes sense.

I’ve ran Revshifts poly engine and trans mounts together, and neither gave me any NVH issues.

The bimmerworld rubber mounts are much stiffer than poly mounts. Hence why I’m asking if they get softer overtime.
