Removed 40 lbs of sound deadening and the passenger seat.
Good riddance. Only took 4 towels, 2 heat guns, 1 pair of chemical resistant gloves, 2 scrapers, half a tin of acetone, 1 3M mask, and a few after work nights and a weekend to get all this crud off.
Now I have to pop some Advil cuz I’m old.

2-3k RPM is kinda grumbly, 4-6k RPM is where it comes alive and has beautiful harmonics and resonance like an exotic, and 6500-8300 RPM is just racecar screaming.Instagram: @logicalconclusion

After a couple months of accumulating parts, did the rod bearings this weekend. Also new control arms and bushings and tie rods.
Got a couple things to button up before starting it, but I'm glad to have it done!
Car has about 113k miles, and I believe these are the original bearings.

I had a leak where the oil cooler lines entered the cooler. Hoped it was as simple as the 2 o-rings. Car is still on Jack stands as I have power steering refresh to do still, but based on these o-rings I removed I’m pretty sure I found my leak. Best $3.50 fix (plus some oil) I’ve had lately!
