Went into limp mode in the first 2 min on the road, plugged the TPS back in after my dumb ass left it unplugged while doing an oil filter change... made it through all the VANOS bulletproofing flawlessly only to do stupid shit like this ๐

Make it three, that one has caused more than one โfuuuuuu ...โ after a big job (also including a flawless VANOS bulletproof) followed by sweet relief
Swung by my friend's house to use his garage to rotate the tires. There's some camber wear up front so hopefully rotating them will even out the wear.
Later I took apart the CSL intake to clean out the ash and whatever crap has gotten stuck in the air filter since I've installed it. Got to ogle at the carbon fiber masterpiece that Karbonius made. I thought I was going to see more oil blow-by but it looked pretty good in there.

Drove it 900 miles to see family. Lost a fender grill somewhere along the way :/ i brought my laptop and a good amount if tools just in case. This is the first real road trip ive been on with this car because it was formely a SMG. Its been converted about a year and a half now and im feeling some confidence leaving home. Ill post again once shes back at the stable.
Finished up major suspension refresh. New struts, new shocks, new FCABs, new RTABS, new RSMs. Added reinforcement plates to the rear wishbones and to the front shock towers. Need to actually replace the rear wishbones but that damn diff is in the way...so the shop can do that before they align the car...along with a few other things like subframe/diff bushings. I did manage to fix the stripped set screw in the rear spring perch, so small personal victory there.

Iโm in the market for a light weight track setup. I was thinking about the AP kit and never noticed the Stoptech light weight setup you have. I canโt find much real world info on them. Those look very interesting.
