What did you do for your M3 today?

I've been polishing my vanos (and certain, other metal parts) (in situ) over the last like 5 years, so it's been a progression. I would say you can get it very shiny (not perfect - mine isn't even) in maybe 4 hours straight? Your fingers, wrists and elbows will get tired though . I would guess I have like 12 hrs total on it?

Haven't used Mother's Mag polish in a long time but that smell instantly transports me back 25 years to my parents garage polishing crap on 5.0 fox bodies. It's good stuff for sure. Need to pick some up again.

Is the seating position much lower than stock now? Any idea how much lower? Also, what mounts, sliders did you go with?

It's much lower, at least 2 inches. Recaro side mounts, Recaro sliders, VAC floor mounts (not the best I have to say).

My seats don’t show that much wear, some of the creasing is there and if they had been in a convertible they’d probably be worse. You really did an amazing job with those. Think I’m going to order that dye while it’s still available.
