Modern cars are so ugly, but it's really noticeable when you park one next to a 2000s classic.

Damn, that M2 is certainly something. Haha. That's the kind of car where the design team spends months doing an angle study to find like 4 camera angles where it looks okay. Where as a truly well designed car looks good from all or at least, most angles.

After 14 years of ownership and 4 years of photography, I STILL haven't found a bad angle of the e46!

My hardtop hoist finally came in! Was a breeze to install and now I can install my hardtop by myself instead of asking my friends come over to help. Haha. Weee!

Nice! I need to do that. Frustrating that it's light enough to carry alone, just way too bulky and awkward.

Wow you carried it alone? It is so awkward that not sure how you would do that.

the hoist is amazing! Makes it truly a one man job although I keep thinking it’s gonna fall on the car haha.

regardless this will make me use the top more rather than store it in the corner.

Changed the lenses on my xenon headlamps. Every video i wanted never showed taking out the drivers side headlight (which is hardwired to the xenon control unit) so that made the job a bit more difficult, but for someone like me with minimal mechanical skill, still got it all done and the results are night and day with the now brand new looking headlights.

Started it for the first time in months (had electrician install more lighting in my garage, so needed to make room):

And figured I'd take the opportunity to snap some glamour shots:

I had a thread in regards to debris getting past my Karbonius airbox, build date is 12/2019.

I contacted Karbonious and they would pay shipping back to the US but not to Spain. It was going to be over $500 to send insured for $2300, that didn't work well for me.

So I searched for the next best option, after about a month they sent me a piece of plastic and some epoxy, even some instructions ().

They piece doesn't fit as well as I'd like and doesn't provide the sealing I would have hoped but it is progress and I plan to use epoxy and/or urethane sealant to "build up" the areas that aren't quite right.

So this is not quite done but I figured I would share the progress after initially using epoxy (they provided) to affix the piece.

The fitment with the ZCP wheels look great! What spacers are you running? I’m planning on picking up a set here pretty soon.

Thank you! I've got 15mm up front and 12mm in the rear. I still might try and go bigger up front to get the wheels a bit more flush, but I'm happy with the look.
