What did you do for your M3 today?

Got the stupidest bolt on the car (front diff mount) like 98% of the way in, how the fuck do you do this without leverage/room under the car? Sanity check: is it normal for the bolt to get tighter as it goes in? It’s for sure not cross threaded or stripped. I did put some blue loctite on it.

You need to support the diff a bit to unload the bolt. It goes in all the way by hand. How tight is tight? A small ratchet can take it home? If not, don’t force it and jack up the diff bit by bit.

I support the diff with a jack. If you don't do that, then the weight of the diff is pushing it against the bearing causing friction and the thread begins to cut into the inside bushing sleeve.
Last time I did mine in spring, it went in smoothly. But I also use a bolt with a shaft, not the OE that has is threaded all the way.

I had a gentleman named Grant build them out and install them, he lives in the Bay Area and came down to SoCal to visit his partner shops so he installed them while out here. His IG is Grant8311.

Absolutely, very high quality build (he works with Kaiv from San Diego who also happened to QA my headlight units during the build). Was at a friend's place last night, was able to get a before and after with my xenon vs bi-led (took the xenon pictures many moons ago, worked out that the same spot was open again). The entire area the light covers is amazing:

I know it isnt everyones favorite, but if turner wants to sell their carbon airbox for $2k, im in i removed the sticker because i didnt like it, but im happy with the purchase. Just need a tune now
for anyone thats interested, i thought this was a bigger pain to install than the standard plenum, but i guess thats the way it goes

I dunno man, I think the TMS box is great, especially at the price point, great sound and power, looks great in your engine bay 👍
