Unfortunately the car is still at the body shop in the New Rochelle quarantine so it's going to be a while before I get it back 😑
Wow, I knew their stuff was good but that looks incredible.

Did a valve adjustment, many were out of spec. I notice absolutely no difference in power or anything really.
Also re-wrapped the armrests since they had seen better day, what a YUGE difference it made to the interior. I used a product called Ultra-leather (from the makers of Ultrasuede {made by Toray or a subsidiary, whom are also the makers of the official alcantara [I think I have all that right]}). Anyway, stuff is amazing. Perfect matte finish, has a nice hand and the grain is a perfect fit for the interior.

Finished rolling the rears, added 10mm spacers, and slightly raised the ride height.

Haha! Yessir, coming from an Evo X and RSX before that. They are life savers for sure.

Thanks! I was able to get the front jacked up today and did the strut mount swap trick to get some extra camber. Was rubbing the fenders on turns before. Still needs some tuning but its much better. Also adjusted the end links to remove the pre-load and get rid of some end link squeak.

More work in the shop. Got the 3/4" RapidAir MaxLine system plumbed and pressure tested today. Couple small leaks to fix, but it's functional, and more importantly will flow all the air my compressor can feed it and then some. Click image for larger version

Changed the dead battery with a new braille replacement. Thankfully it started right up. Took a drive to celebrate and made a pitstop at an empty JFK.

Did valve adjustment. Should I be trying to get those .009” gaps down to .007 or .008 or just move on with life?

Please don't be fooled by all the people thinking/spouting that mid spec is best. It's a spec RANGE. If you're in the range per BMW, you're IN SPEC. You're done.

                            Smaller is not better.

Finally found a brushed aluminum set clean enough to invest in. Been looking a long time and sure enough got it here in the forums.
Just finished swapping out all the trim. I really dig it

That’s what I wanted to hear.

                                Thanks.
